blepharoplasty
There was this old adage that says "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Man's concept of beauty has experience a lot of evolution through time; this dynamic concept will continue to experience changes for the rest of man's tenure on earth. Self adornment through the use of cosmetics, clothes, hairstyles or jewelry is widely accepted today. And with continued growth in science and technology especially in the field of Cosmetic Plastic, physical enhancement through surgery has gained momentum in the public's interest. More and more people are becoming aware and conscious of the way they look and the changes that they experience as they get older. And aging is an evitable fact of life.
The skin surrounding the eyes is the area where the first signs of aging set in. Usually, as early as the 2nd to 3rd decade of life. These are skin redundancy, fat protrusion in the periorbital area, wrinkled drooping layers of the skin on the eyelids, and sagging eyebrows, which gives the face a tired, sad or angry expression. These are the first perceptible signs of aging, although pronounced eye bags and excessive upper eyelid hoods are hereditary conditions that can be seen in men and women from as young as their twenties.
